The General Department of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (Nangarhar), in collaboration with the Cultural Affairs Sub-Committee, organized an academic competition in the subject of Parasitology among third-semester students.
The competition was held on Monday (21 October, 2024) in the institute’s main conference hall and was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology, the Faculty’s Deputy Dean, administrative staff and students.
At the opening of the event, Technologist Mohammad Jamil Waseem, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology, extended his gratitude to the officials of the General Department and the Cultural Affairs Sub-Committee as well as to the subject instructors for organizing the competition. He emphasized that such programs play a crucial role in enhancing academic knowledge exchange and fostering healthy competition among students, encouraging them to actively participate in such initiatives.
The competition questions and results were arranged in a transparent process in the presence of the participants. Following the evaluation by the jury panel, the third-semester Group B students were declared the winners. Additionally, the Faculty Administration awarded prizes to students from both competing groups.
At the conclusion of the competition, Fazal Rahman Ziarmal, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, shared his positive feedback on the event and expressed his appreciation to the Faculty Administration and the Cultural Affairs Sub-Committee for their efforts in organizing the competition.
It is worth mentioning that the General Department of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education has previously conducted similar academic competitions, which have proven to be highly effective in enhancing students’ academic skills and communication abilities.
