Introduction
The Faculty of Dentistry at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (NGR) was granted its operational license on the (2011 March, 31), by the Ministry of Higher Education. Since its establishment, the faculty has been committed to providing quality education in the field of dentistry and has produced a substantial number of graduates who are now serving in various capacities across the country. These professionals contribute to society by working in government offices, hospitals and educational institutions.
The faculty comprises a Graduating Department of Stomatology, and three Non-Graduating Departments: Clinic, Para-Clinic and Islamic Culture. Additionally, it has an academic management team and eight sub-committees dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of academic and practical programs.
To support student learning and research, the faculty is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped laboratories, library and a computer lab. Practical training is a crucial component of the curriculum, and students gain hands-on experience in the dental section of the Spinghar Momand 50-bed Curative and Teaching hospital. This facility is outfitted with modern and advanced dental equipment, allowing students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting under the supervision of experienced professionals.
