Spinghar Institute of Higher Education Department of Career Counseling and Employment, in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Languages and Professional Development, organized an informative and guiding seminar under the title “Soft Skills and Personality Development.”
The seminar was conducted by Nasir Khan Jamal, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, on Sunday (15 December, 2024) in the institute’s main conference hall, with the participation of students from the three faculties.
During the seminar, Nasir Khan Jamal welcomed the attendees and provided an overview of the objectives, significance and necessity of the seminar. He delivered comprehensive insights into the concept of soft skills, different types of soft skills, a comparison between soft and hard skills, the most common soft skills, methods for developing them and their benefits in personal, social and professional life. Additionally, he addressed participants' queries in a academic and professional manner.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Fazal Rahman Ziarmaal, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, expressed his appreciation to Nasir Khan Jamal for conducting the session and shared his positive feedback on the seminar. He emphasized the active and broad participation of students in extracurricular activities alongside their academic studies and stressed the continuation of such programs.
