The Sub-Committee of E-Learning of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education, in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology (IT), conducted a one-day workshop on academic presentation development.

The workshop, aimed at enhancing students’ capacities, was delivered by Sediqullah Adil, the IT Manager of the Institute, on Tuesday (10 December, 2024) in the institute’s main conference hall. It was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology, the Faculty’s Deputy Dean, officials of the E-Learning Sub-Committee, faculty lecturers, and students representing different classes.

At the opening of the seminar, Technologist Mohammad Jamil Waseem, the Dean of the Faculty, welcomed the participants and delivered a comprehensive speech on the importance and necessity of both soft and hard skills for students. He also expressed his gratitude to Sediqullah Adil and other contributors for organizing the seminar and encouraged students to actively participate in such events, enhance their capabilities and share the acquired knowledge with their classmates.

During the workshop, Sediqullah Adil, the IT Manager and Head of the E-Learning Main Committee, provided detailed insights into various aspects of presentations, including their general concept, structure, key characteristics of a standard presentation, significance in educational and professional settings and practical methods for developing presentations. He also addressed participants’ queries in a academic and professional manner.

It is worth mentioning that Spinghar Institute of Higher Education Main and Sub-Committees on E-Learning have previously conducted numerous capacity-building programs for students and remain committed to organizing similar programs in the future.
