1. Establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry.
2. Ten cohorts of students have graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry’s program so far.
3. Creation of the Spinghar Momand Medical and Teaching Hospital.
4. This hospital, affiliated with Spinghar Higher Education Institution, serves as a site for students' clinical and final-stage training.
5. Approval of the faculty's mission and vision.
6. Approval of the institution's five-year strategic plan.
7. Relocation of the faculty to a new building.
8. Achievement of the second phase of accreditation.
9. Approval of the faculty's revised mission and vision.
10. The process of establishing two faculty members as part of the academic staff is almost complete.
11. Twelve academic and research papers have been written and presented for the Nangarhar University’s Global Climate Change Conference.
12. Individuals with the necessary qualifications, academic credentials and professional experiences have been hired through a transparent competitive process.
13. The use of official email for administrative correspondence has been promoted.
14. The development of a standardized format for implementing decisions from official meetings has resulted in significant improvements.
15. Vice-deans have been appointed in faculties based on the organizational structure of the institution to improve operational management.
16. Preparation programs for graduates to take English language proficiency (DEL) and Exit exams have been launched to enhance student capacity.
17. Significant programs (curriculum, OBE-SCL and research) have been implemented for faculty members according to the professional development center’s capacity-building plan.
18. A mechanism for contributing to community development has been established, including a multi-day free medical camp for Afghan refugees in Torkham.
19. Awareness among faculty and administrative staff regarding quality assurance frameworks and accreditation indicators has increased.
20. A focus on standardizing planning and reporting procedures has been given and these practices are being implemented.
21. The creation, maintenance and expansion of partnerships have led to numerous collaborative activities and memorandums of understanding.
22. The development of internal auditing and evaluation procedures has contributed to progress in the evaluation processes.
23. The creation of comprehensive guidelines for medical and laboratory practical work has resulted in substantial improvements in the performance of laboratory practical.
24. Significant improvements in exam-related procedures and the establishment of an exam and result coordination unit have led to positive changes in this area.
25. Graduation of the first cohort from the Dentistry academic program.
26. To date, the Dentistry program has graduated a total of 11 cohorts.
