On the occasion of World Laboratory Day, an informative one-day seminar was held today, Wednesday (02/03/1404 Hijri Solar – April 23, 2025), by the Cultural Affairs Subcommittee of the Faculty of Medical Technology at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education.

In the opening speech, the Dean of the Faculty, Technologist Mohammad Jamil Waseem, spoke about the importance and necessity of the seminar. He extended his gratitude to the presenter, Technologist Mohammad Tariq Shinwari, as well as to the heads of the main and subcommittees of cultural affairs at the institute and faculty, for continuously organizing such seminars in connection with religious, national, and international health days to enhance students’ knowledge and skills.

During the seminar held in the institute’s conference hall, Technologist Mohammad Tariq Shinwari provided comprehensive information to participants on topics including the introduction to medical laboratories, their significance, academic and professional development, the levels and major departments within medical laboratories, and the nature and goals of celebrating World Laboratory Day.

It is worth mentioning that the seminar concluded with positive remarks from the head of the para-clinic department of the faculty, Technologist Qudratullah Amani, and ended with a closing prayer he delivered.
