Three-Day Training Program on PHEMIS System Launched

On Sunday (May 18, 2025), a three-day training program on the "Private Higher Education Management Information System" (PHEMIS), developed by the Ministry of Higher Education for private educational institutions, was launched in the conference hall of Spinghar Institute  Higher Education. The program is organized by the Directorate of Foreign Languages and Professional Development, in coordination with the Directorates of Information Technology and Student Affairs.
This training, being conducted by Mr. Hedayatullah Saeed (Head of Student Affairs) and Mr. Aimal Zakhil (Executive Director of IT), is specifically designed for the staff of the Student Affairs Directorate, library managers, academic directors of faculties, and members of the Examination and Results Coordination Committee.
Mr. Fazal Rahman Ziarmal, Deputy for Student Affairs at the institute, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance and necessity of the program. He appreciated the recent efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education in developing this system and encouraged the participants to engage actively throughout the sessions.
On the first day of the program, Mr. Saeed provided theoretical and practical guidance to participants on various aspects of the PHEMIS system, including system overview, user account creation, statistics and data management, student listing, adding new students to the system, uploading Kankor (university entrance exam) results, and other key functionalities. He also briefed attendees on the practical sessions planned for the following two days.
It is worth noting that PHEMIS is a dedicated electronic management system developed by the Ministry of Higher Education for private higher education institutions. It is designed to manage and organize all student-related information—from enrollment to graduation. According to the Director of Private Student Affairs at the Ministry, the system will be implemented across all private institutions starting from the Fall Semester of academic year 1403.
