The Higher Education Development Center of Kardan University organized the 2024 Annual National Scientific-Research Conference on Higher Education Development in Afghanistan (ACHEDA), where faculty members of Spinghar Institute of Higher Education presented their research paper.
Under the theme "National Conference on Quality Assurance and Accreditation Processes and Standards Evaluation", Teaching Assistant Safiullah Mohabbat, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, and Teaching Assistant Abdulhaq Wafa, head of the Quality Assurance Department at Spinghar Institute, presented their paper titled “The Impact of Technology on Quality Assurance in Educational Institutions” and shared the findings with the participants.
A total of 24 papers were selected for the conference according to a report published on the KU University’s Facebook page, global experiences in quality assurance were reviewed and discussions were held on how to implement them within the country. The report emphasized that for the success of quality assurance frameworks, universities must be equipped with academic and financial self-sufficiency to address the challenges faced by Afghanistan through innovative solutions.
It is worth noting that the faculty members and administrative staff of Spinghar Institute have previously presented their research papers at various national and international conferences, including the International Climate Change Conference. It is also planned that in the near future, Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (Nangarhar) will host a National Scientific-Research Conference titled “An Overview of Health System and Services in Afghanistan: Challenges, Opportunities and Solutions.”
