The Faculty of General Medicine at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education organized a one-day scientific seminar under the title “Chemical Properties and Medical Uses of Glucose” on Wednesday (25 Dec, 2024).

The seminar was presented by Teaching Assistant Dr.Mohammad Sabir Jamali, a faculty member from the Department of Therapeutic Medicine, in the institute’s main conference hall. The event was attended by the faculty’s Dean, Vice Dean, lecturers and students from the faculty.

During the opening speech, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr.Mohammad Javid Haziq, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of this scientific seminar. He emphasized the active and extensive participation of students in such seminars, noting their significant role in enhancing the academic knowledge and capacity of the attendees.

Dr.Mohammad Sabir Jamali delivered a detailed presentation, sharing comprehensive scientific information about the topic’s importance and necessity, the definition of glucose, its history, extraction methods, chemical properties and medical applications. He also professionally and scientifically addressed participants’ questions on the topic.
